As you might have noticed, in-app subscriptions in improve the experience for both groups. In this post, we’ll show you a workaround for Shorts and Live streams.
Why We Changed the Subscription Mechanism
4K Video er and 4K YouTube to MP3 depend on video platforms. If one of the platforms changes something, s might face some performance issues when saving videos from this particular source. Several months ago, YouTube changed the look of its Channels, and now all videos are stored in different tabs: standard videos, Shorts and Lives. As a result of this change, you might have problems updating your in-app subscriptions in 4K Video er.
We managed to fix it; however, automatic ing of Shorts and Live streams wasn’t possible. We received a lot of requests to add this functionality, so the developers managed to do it.
How It Works Now in 4K Video er 4.24
4K Video er 4.24.0 now has several options that should cover your needs.
Option 1. the whole channel
If you want to all the content from a YouTube channel (videos, Shorts, Live streams), you need to add a subscription like that: https://www.youtube.com/@NoCopyrightSounds/featured
Open the channel you want to subscribe to, press the Home button and copy the link from the browser.
Then add it to 4K Video er.
Option 2. only specific content type
If you want to only standard videos, Shorts or Live, you need to open the necessary tab and copy the generated link from the browser:
https://www.youtube.com/@NoCopyrightSounds/videos — to get only single videos from the YouTube channel.
https://www.youtube.com/@NoCopyrightSounds/shorts — to get only Shorts.
3) https://www.youtube.com/@NoCopyrightSounds/streams — to get only Live streams from a particular channel.
In this case, the subscription title will include the type of content you want to . Hope it helps!
